Intuit releases R8 for QuickBooks Enterprise 2013 (after R7)

What’s important about Release 8?

  1. Billable time in the Choose Billable/Time Costs window is now sorted by date instead of Employee name.

  2. Third party software will no longer experience the following errors when connecting to QuickBooks:

  3. Unrecoverable Error 00000 03667

  4. Sync Error 17_7005 – “Could not detect a valid installation of QuickBooks SDK:7005 qbXML components have not been installed”Accounts Receivable

R8 was largely a quick fix to problems reported by third-party add-on applications such as Bay Consulting’s Transaction Pro Import tool, which stopped working properly in R7.

  1. Resolved multiple issues related to encryption/decryption errors

  2. QuickBooks introduces Maintenance Alerts

  3. Enhancements in data damage detection

  4. Resolved several “Unrecoverable error” codesAccountant’s Copy

  5. Updated where the Accountant’s Copy connects to for the following functions: “Send to Accountant…”, “View/Export Changes for Client…”, and “Import Accountant’s Changes from Web”
